The Most Unlikely People Confess to their Dream

2001

The Most Unlikely People Confess to their Dream was a series of intimate solos incorporating performance art, installation, writing, dance and original music, in which each performer’s dream was mapped onto the body of another.

Rajni spent the first month of this process in individual rehearsals, working with performers from a wide range of backgrounds, some of whom had never performed before. At the end of the month, each performer was told that they would be taking on the dream of another person in the company. In the second part of the process, each of the performers worked with another on creating a solo, using their own skills and inspiration to convey the dreams and visions of another.

Performed at PushPush Theater, Atlanta GA alongside Juha’s Orange
